We can, at least here on the p42 team.
We’ve been testing driving Slack (#slack) here in our office. As most of you know, our goal is to never, ever talk about or recommend an app (or a website or a device or a software) we haven’t test driven ourselves.
Truth is – Slack is pretty cool!
Coolness aside – Slack is functional, efficient and a perfect communication tool for your team. Slack organizes your projects into “channels.” Each channel controls a topic of conversation. In each channel you not only have discussions, meetings, questions, and comments but can upload all sorts of information from a multitude of different platforms (think word documents and pdfs).
Channels can be private or include multiple team members. You and your team can talk on Slack in real time. You can also search all of Slack to find answers. You can even select the option to be able to have messages/notifications on your channels sent directly to you when you’re not working in Slack.
Slack is accessible on your computer and across all of the mobile devices and tablets you use.
If you’re curious about Slack and other productivity apps you can use with your law practice team, give us a call so we can talk about what you need in your practice.
